Omar Gutierrez Recognized with 2008 U.S. Senator Phil Gramm Doctoral Fellowship

Omar Gutierrez, a doctoral student in Poultry Science, is 1 of 6 recipients of the U.S. Senator Phil Gramm Doctoral Fellowship for 2008.  This fellowship recognizes scholarly excellence and was established to promote, encourage and reward outstanding teaching and research by doctoral students whose command of their respective disciplines exemplifies the meaning of scholar/mentor in the highest sense. The presentation of this fellowship will be made on April 3, 2008 at the University Club. Congratulations!
