Manufacturing, Assembly, Packaging, Labeling and Electronic Sterilization Laboratory Established

Suresh Pillai in collaboration with NASA-JSC and Jacobs Technology has established the Manufacturing, Assembly, Packaging, Labeling and Electronic Sterilization (MAPLES) laboratory at the National E-Beam Center. This laboratory equipped with micro-contamination control will develop, test, and validate the use of E-Beam technologies to sterilize flight-ready hardware destined for the International Space Station and other missions.
