Mikaela Pichardo wins 2008 Student Research Week Awards

Congratulations to Mikaela Pichardo for her outstanding oral presentation entitled "The Effect of Flaxseed and Fish Oil on Layer Egg Quality" during 2008 TAMU Student Research Week. She won 1st place in her session and 2nd place in the Taxonomy group of Agriculture, Agronomy, Botany, and Plant Science. She received a check for $150.00, a plaque, and a ribbon during the Awards ceremony on Friday, March 28, 2008. Mikaela, a senior in Poultry Science, conducted her research under the direction of Dr. Morgan Farnell.
