Congratulations to Dr. David Caldwell and Dr. Morgan Farnell for receiving two research grants. The first grant is a Biomin Research and Innovation Network Grant in the amount of $15,708 and is for a study entitled "Effects of Probiotic (Biomin® PoultryStar) on Coccidiosis Vaccination." Dr. Caldwell is the PI and Dr. Farmell is Co-PI on this study.
The second grant in the amount of $39,184 is from the Formula Animal Health Fund for a study entitled " Immunomodulation of the Avian Mucosa with Probiotics and the Corresponding Effect on Coccidiosis Vaccination". Dr. Farnell is the PI and Dr. Caldwell is the Co-PI on this study. This study is also the first grant received for Dr. Farnell as a PI.
