This years installment of the annual Poultry Science Weekend was a huge success with about 250 people at the weekend's events. This year, we also added a friday afternoon skeet shoot organized by DR. Jack McReynolds and J. C. Essler. About 24 people showed up to shoot and we were very glad to have Tyson of Waldron, Arkansas (Chris McMurrough '96) sponsor the skeet event. Winners of the skeet prizes were 1st place to Justin Terrell ('06), 2nd place to Ross Windham (''06), and 3rd place to Neal Eckert ('06). Jason Lee, one of our excellent and dedicated advisors also organized a dominos tournament with twelve teams during the steak fry on friday night. The winners of the cash dominos prize was the team of Kerri Schneider ('05) and Neal Eckert ('06). Congratulations to all who participated.
Other weekend event were the traditional steak fry at Central Park with the Cargill cookers and a pregame BBQ in the Kleberg atrium. The Ags beat Kansas State in a great game to complete the weekend. The weekend could not have happened without the generous support of our many individual and corporate sponsors. Thank you very much!
