Congratulations to Dr. Suresh Pillai on receiving his first patent. Dr. Pillai, in conjunction with Dr. Dirk Schulze-Makuch (El Paso, Tx) and Dr. Robert Bowman (Lemitar, NM), developed several methods for removing biological pathogens using surfactant-modified zeolite. The U.S. Patent was granted on December 25, 2007.
