Dr. Pillai Receives Grants

Congratulations to Dr. Suresh Pillai for receiving two research grants. The first grant is from the USDA Formula Animal Health Fund in the amount of $24,339 for a study entitled "Characterizing the role of autoinducer molecule AI-2 in the colonization and virulence of S. Enteriditis in chickens" The second grant is from the Water Environment Research Foundation in the amount of $183,903 for a study entitled "Disinfecting and stabilizing biosolids using E-beam and chemical oxidants."
