Department Convenes Poultry Health Meeting

On January 11, 2005, the Department hosted a meeting of poultry health individuals in the Texas A&M System, industry and government. Texas A&M researchers and teachers from the Poultry Science and Veterinary Pathobiology were joined by representatives from the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, Texas Poultry Federation, and Texas Animal Health Commission to discuss the poultry health programs at Texas A&M. The good discussions produced several suggestions for new initiatives which are already being pursued. Stay tuned for future developments.
