Dr. Marcos Sanchez Joins Faculty
The Department welcomed Dr. Marcos Sanchez as a new faculty member this fall.
Dr. Sanchez has a BS degree in food biochemistry from Quito University in Ecuador
and M.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He teaches courses and does research in poultry processing and food safety.
He has particular interest in working with the commercial industry and in international
projects and is a certified HACCP trainer. His general areas of expertise are
in antimicrobial technologies and their effects on the quality and safety of
products.
