Our Poultry Judging Team won 2nd place at the National Collegiate Poultry Judging Contest held November 7-8. We were outscored by Penn State by 27 points out of a total possible 4500 points. What a close score. Our very own Miranda Smith won high individual overall and is the National Collegiate Poultry Judging Champion... quite an accomplishment!! Also of note was that we won the production division, came in 3rd in the breeder division, and Kandace Perry was the 7th high individual. Other team members were Emilie Piercy, Chelsey Lange and Dawna Winkler. Congratulations to these outstanding students and their coaches, Dr. Krueger and Jason Lee, for a job well done.
