Survey of animal life with respect to cell organization, genetics, evolution, diversity of invertebrates/vertebrates, anatomy/physiology, and interaction of animals with their environment; includes laboratory that reinforces and provides supplemental information related to lecture topics. Not open to students who have taken BIOL 111 and BIOL 112 or BIOL 113 and BIOL 114.
