The Texas A&M University Poultry Judging Team traveled to Fayetteville, AR from November 3rd to 6th to compete in the National Collegiate Poultry Judging Contest hosted by the University of Arkansas. Ten teams from across the nation competed in the two day competition. The contest concluded with Texas A&M winning its eleventh national championship in a row dating back to November 2008. The team placed first in the Egg Production and Quality division and placed third in the Breed Selection and Carcass Quality division. The team consisted of Joshua Woelfel (High Individual Overall, 1st Place – Breed Selection and Carcass Quality 1stPlace Egg Production and Quality), Kyle Brown (2nd Place Overall, 2nd Breed Selection and Carcass Quality), Allison Moore, and Micah Osburn. Kolton Page was the alternate on the team. The team is coached by Dr. Jason Lee.
