Four Poultry Science graduate students won awards at the 2018 International Poultry Scientific Forum held in Atlanta, Georgia on January 29-30, 2018. Brook Bodle, Mallori Lee, and Hunter Walters received Certificates of Achievement awards in recognition of their outstanding research presentations at this annual meeting. Morouj Al-Ajeeli received the Alltech Graduate Student Manuscript Award for the presentation and publication as a senior author of an outstanding research manuscript. Congratulations to all!
Morouj Al-Ajeeli – Alltech Graduate Student Manuscript Award
“An evaluation of the performance of Hy-Line Brown laying hens fed soybean and soybean-free diets using cage and free-range rearing systems”
Morouj completed her PhD under the direction of Dr. Christopher Bailey.
Brooke Bodle – Certificate of Achievement Award
“The effect of multiple levels Arginine and/or Vitamin C on performance, meat yield and incidence of white striping and woody breast when supplemented in combination with low digestible amino acid grower diets”
Brooke completed her MS under the direction of Dr. Christine Alvarado and Dr. Jason Lee.
