Prospective transfer students must meet the following requirements to be considered for transfer admission into the Poultry Science Department.

• Have a 2.5 or better GPR
• Must have completed 24 credit hours and no more than 75 completed credit hours
• Have completed CHEM 101/111 (Texas Common Course Number 1411) or BIOL 111 (Texas Common Course Number 1406): Both are preferred
• Preferred completion of MATH 141 and 142 (Texas Common Course Number 1324 and 1325)
• Attend a change of major meeting with Poultry Science Advisor

Prospective change of major students must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission into the Poultry Science Department.

• No more than 75 completed hours
• Have completed CHEM 101/111 or BIOL 111 (both are preferred)
• Preferred completion of MATH 141 and 142
• Attend a change of major meeting with Poultry Science Advisor
