2020 Virtual Poultry Institute

When: July 13th-15th, 2020

What: The 2020 Virtual Poultry Camp was designed to expose high school students and potential transfer students to the Department of Poultry Science. The Camp will include sessions on Admissions, Department Opportunities, Virtual Tours, Lab Simulations, and meet & greets with Faculty & Staff.

Where: Comfort of your own home! (VIRTUAL)

Who: High School Students and Potential Transfer Students (students who plan to enroll in junior college before transferring to TAMU)

Each participant will also receive “Poultry Swag” as a part of the Institute

Schedule of Events:

Each day will consist of pre-recorded videos that can be viewed at the participant’s pace and live Q&A sessions

Day 3: “Spreading your Wings: Future Careers & Beyond”

  • Poultry Industry Overview
  • Using Technical Track to get to Vet School
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Processing Overview
